Our automotive exhaust range is stocked to support new build, repair, restoration and specialist fabrication, from OEM production runs to one-off custom builds.

Tube: grades 1.4512 (409) and 1.4301 (304), from 32mm OD x 1.2mm wall to 153mm OD x 1.5mm wall, in 6m standard lengths § Perforated tube: grades 1.4512 (409) and 1.4301 (304), from 32mm to 76.2mm OD, 6011 pattern (3mm holes, 5.66mm triangular pitch, 25% open area), in 5.8m standard lengths
BS Long 1.5D 45°ree; elbows: grade 1.4301 (304), satin polished, from 38.1mm to 76.1mm OD
BS Long 1.5D 90°ree; elbows: grade 1.4301 (304), satin polished, from 38.1mm to 76.1mm OD
SMS Long 1D 90°ree; elbows: grade 1.4301 (304), satin polished, from 38mm to 101.6mm OD
MIG welding wire: grades 308 and 316, 0.8mm diameter, on 15kg reels of approximately 3,000m
TIG welding rods: grade 316L, in 1.6mm and 2.4mm diameters, 1m long, supplied in 5kg boxes
Stainless steel wire wool: grade 434 (1.4113), on 6.5kg reels, 100mm wide

The perforated tube range is manufactured to ISO 1127:1992 (E.) D3/T3 tolerances.

Grades that do the job

1.4512 (409): titanium-stabilised ferritic. Cost-effective and the industry default for OEM exhaust manufacture.
1.4301 (304): austenitic. Better corrosion resistance and formability, the choice for aftermarket, motorsport, marine exhaust and any application where longevity or appearance matters.
1.4113 (434): ferritic. The wire wool grade for exhaust joint sealing and packing.
308, 316 and 316L: the welding consumable grades to match the base material.
