Quality & Approvals

Rigorous checks, full traceability, fewer headaches

Quality approvals are an industry baseline. Customers expect them, and rightly so.

What makes the difference is what happens behind the certificate: the inspection processes, the documentation checks, the willingness to accommodate your specific requirements, and the team taking responsibility for getting it right.

That's where we focus.

Inspection as standard

Everything that comes through our door goes through an inspection process. That applies across the network, every Service Centre, every delivery in.

Checks include:

  • Dimensional verification
  • Certificate verification against material received
  • Material matching to specification
  • Documentation review

You're not relying on a mill alone. You're relying on us to catch the things that shouldn't reach you.

Carefully selected suppliers

We work only with mills that meet our predefined quality control standards. All products we supply conform to the relevant British or international standards, with certificates of conformity or analysis available on request.

Our accreditations

  • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System across our Service Centres
  • ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety, currently held by our Central Warehouse
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Management, currently held by selected Service Centres, with a full rollout in progress

Other industry-specific approvals are held by individual Service Centres. Talk to us about your project to confirm what applies.

Audit support and customer-specific quality controls

Many of our customers, particularly in nuclear, energy and high-specification manufacturing, audit their supply chain regularly. We welcome it.

If your project requires:

  • Additional inspection or testing
  • Customer-specific quality procedures
  • Audit access to our operations
  • Bespoke documentation packs
  • Source-specific material restrictions

Talk to our team. We'll work with your quality requirements, not against them.

What that means for you

  • Fewer rejections, delays and surprises. Material that's been checked before it reaches you.
  • Full traceability. Documentation that holds up to scrutiny.
  • Less work on your end. We take responsibility for the checking so you don't have to repeat it.
  • A flexible partner. Quality processes adapted to your project, not forced through ours.
  • Confidence on every order. From first enquiry through to delivery.

Flexible. Responsive. Trusted. That's what good quality looks like in practice.
