Marine

Corrosion-resistant materials for the offshore, oil and gas supply chain.

Offshore is an unforgiving environment.

Salt air. Pressure. Continuous service. Materials that fail offshore don't fail quietly, they cost money, downtime and sometimes worse.

That's why the offshore supply chain runs on stainless, and why we hold the grades, forms and certifications it relies on.

What we supply

The offshore, oil and gas sector is dominated by stainless steel, particularly 316 and 316L. Our offer covers:

  • Pipe and tube
  • Fittings and flanges
  • Pressure-system components
  • Plate, bar and sections

In stainless, duplex and specialist alloys where the service conditions demand them.

The range supports oil and gas contractors, pipework specialists, marine fabricators, offshore engineering firms and the maintenance contractors keeping existing infrastructure running.

Built for corrosive environments

Stainless steel 316 is the default offshore grade for good reason: chloride resistance, pitting resistance, mechanical strength and long-term durability in marine atmospheres. Where standard 316 isn't enough, we supply duplex and super duplex grades for sour service, chloride attack and deep subsea applications, plus high-nickel alloys when the chemistry calls for them.

Certification you can rely on

  • Material certified to BS EN 10204 3.1 as standard
  • Compliant with PED 2014/68/EU Annex 1 Para UW51 where required
  • ASTM, ASME and BS EN specifications available
  • Full traceability from mill to site
  • Additional mechanical testing and chemical analysis available

A market in transition

The North Sea is changing. Traditional offshore drilling continues to evolve alongside new investment in offshore wind, decommissioning, hydrogen, carbon capture and the broader energy transition.

Existing infrastructure still needs maintenance, repair and project support. New infrastructure still needs materials that can take what the offshore environment throws at them.

We're supplying both.
