Materials

Corrosion-resistant, hygienic and ready to fabricate, in the grades and finishes that get used most.

Stainless steel sheet earns its place wherever corrosion, hygiene or the finish would ruin a lesser material.

Catering equipment. Hygienic fabrication. Interior and exterior cladding. Architectural detail. Automotive trim. Whatever you're making, the grade and finish set the tone for how it looks, how it lasts and what it costs.

That's why we hold a wide stock of the grades and finishes that get used most.

Grades held in stock

1.4301/1.4307 (304/304L)

The austenitic workhorse. Excellent corrosion resistance, formability and weldability, non-magnetic and easy to finish. The 'L' variant offers low carbon for improved weldability in thicker sections. The standard choice for food, dairy, catering, general fabrication and architecture.

1.4401/1.4404 (316/316L)

Molybdenum-added austenitic. Better resistance to chlorides and aggressive environments. The 'L' variant offers low carbon for improved weldability in thicker sections. The marine, chemical and pharmaceutical grade.

1.4016 (430)

Ferritic, magnetic, chromium-only. Lower cost, good formability and a good decorative finish. Used for domestic appliance panels, automotive trim and general interior applications.

1.4003

Utility ferritic grade. Cost-effective corrosion resistance where general durability matters more than appearance.

Finishes we hold

  • 2B: the standard cold-rolled finish. Bright and functional, ready to fabricate.
  • 2R (BA): Bright Annealed. A brighter, more reflective finish for architectural and decorative use.
  • Polished 240 grit: a satin brushed finish, supplied with white PVC coating on one side to protect during handling.
  • Mirror polished: highly reflective, for premium architectural and decorative applications.
  • Treadplate: patterned non-slip surface, dual certified to DIN 59220 (T) and ASTM A793 Pattern 1.
